As a means of navigation, I want to bring to focus the insignificant details that make up the dimensions and complexities of a space or time.
I commenced with small, trivial, overlooked objects from our everyday surroundings. Each substance holds its unique physical properties, which keep on transforming as it grows or decays. The temporality of such fragile materials stimulates my awareness in perceiving the weight of brief existences. By working directly with the tactile qualities of things, I intend to reveal latent potentialities beneath the tangible layer, to extract fleeting fragments as they surface in the streams of becoming, to crystallize impermanence with materiality.
Setting off on a journey within the unknown: there is no absolute destination, only momentary arrivals.
